Intel Core i9-14900KF breaks the 9.2GHz barrier... sets a world record for CPU clock speed

Chinese overclocker wytiwx set a new CPU frequency world record with Intel’s Core i9-14900KF.

Using only one active P-core, unlocked power limits, and liquid helium cooling, the chip reached 9.206GHz.

The result was verified with CPU-Z, with ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex as the platform.

The achievement highlights how far modern consumer CPUs can still be pushed with extreme cooling and power control.
