Amazon builds its own AI production platform and greenlights three AI animated series for Prime Video

Amazon MGM Studios and AWS have launched the GenAI Creators' Fund and a private AI production platform, Project Nara, to support selected creators.

Project Nara runs on AWS and connects multiple AI models with standard tools like Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine, while tracking content provenance.

The studio has already started three animated series pilots on five-week timelines, using human actors and voice talent.

Prime Video has not announced a release date, but Amazon is clearly building an end-to-end AI content pipeline for film and TV.
