Anker Unveils In-House “Thus” Chip to Bring On-Device AI Across Its Product Line

Anker unveiled Thus, its self-developed AI chip for on-device inference across consumer devices.

The first application will be upcoming Soundcore headphones, aiming for better voice isolation and support for larger neural networks in noisy settings.

Anker says the chip uses in-memory computing to cut data movement, power use, and size versus conventional AI chips.

This could help Anker bring more capable AI features to compact, battery-limited audio and IoT products without cloud processing.
