Open source Xiaomi MiMo-V2.5 and V2.5-Pro are among the most efficient (and affordable) at agentic 'claw' tasks

Xiaomi released MiMo-V2.5 and MiMo-V2.5-Pro as open-source LLMs on Hugging Face under the MIT license.

The company says MiMo-V2.5-Pro tops open-source benchmarks for agentic ‘claw’ workflows while using relatively few tokens.

Xiaomi also reports strong performance on multimodal and software-engineering tasks, plus long-context capabilities.

The release gives developers and enterprises permissively licensed models that could cut deployment costs and challenge closed frontier systems.
