A year in, Google wants its Axion processors to feel like a scheduling decision

Google Cloud said its Axion Arm CPUs have been in production for a year and are now easier to adopt on GKE.

Multi-arch containers, node selectors, and compute classes help automate placement across Arm, x86, and spot capacity.

That makes Axion less of a hardware migration project and more of a Kubernetes scheduling decision.

Google is framing Arm adoption as a low-friction path to better efficiency and price-performance for workloads.
