GnuPG 2.5.19 adds Kyber/ML-KEM post-quantum key encapsulation to its mainline release.

The update also improves 64-bit Windows support and keeps the project aligned with newer crypto standards.

GnuPG’s older 2.4 branch is slated to reach end of life in about two months.

The release moves a widely used encryption tool closer to quantum-resistant security for email and file encryption.
