Sony tries to explain that its AI Camera Assistant doesn’t suck

Sony clarified that its Xperia 1 XIII AI Camera Assistant does not edit photos directly.

Instead, it suggests tweaks for exposure, color, background blur, and subject framing.

The explanation came after criticism of a demo post on X.

But Sony’s sample images still looked worse to many viewers, raising doubts about the feature’s value.
