Anthropic expands legal AI offerings with new Claude Cowork plugins

Anthropic introduced 12 new legal-focused Claude plugins and more than 20 MCP connectors.

The update adds integrations with legal and document tools, including Thomson Reuters, CoCounsel Legal, DocuSign, Everlaw, and Box.

Enterprise admins can now enable these features in Claude Cowork, expanding Claude’s role in legal workflows.

The move could help law firms adopt legal AI faster, but it also heightens concerns about sensitive client data and prompt injection risks.
