Black Flag Not the Only Assassin's Creed Remake Currently in Development, It Is Claimed

Ubisoft is reportedly developing a second Assassin’s Creed remake alongside Black Flag Resynced.

Insiders say the unnamed project likely targets one of the series’ earliest games, most likely the original Assassin’s Creed.

The remake is expected to arrive after the Black Flag project, which is currently eyed for July 2026.

If confirmed, the plan would broaden Ubisoft’s remake strategy and modernize the franchise’s least updated mainline entry.
