Salesforce to provide Slack as standard for all customers, with Slackbot integration

Salesforce Japan will bundle Slack for all Salesforce customers, with new customers automatically getting a free connected workspace starting May 15.

Existing customers can turn on Slack from admin settings, lowering the barrier to adoption across the Salesforce base.

Slackbot will gain Salesforce record actions and new AI features to support CRM tasks and workflow automation.

The upgrades will roll out across several paid plans, with trial access also available for free and Pro users.
