OpenAI's AGI Deployment CEO Fidhi Simo will take medical leave for several weeks, according to an internal memo reported by Bloomberg.

COO Brad Lightcap has been assigned a new role to lead a special projects function handling complex company-wide deals and investments, reporting to Sam Altman.

During Simo's leave, Greg Brockman will oversee product management and super app development, and Gary Briggs will serve as interim CMO after Kate Lauch resigned to focus on cancer treatment.
