Violet Therapeutics raised a $4.75 million seed extension to advance its preclinical brain disease discovery platform.

The round was led by Lifespan Vision Ventures, with support from Dementia Discovery Fund, UTEC, Ono Venture Investment, and Mass General Brigham Ventures.

The company’s CONNECT platform is focused on identifying drug targets tied to neuroinflammation, synaptic loss, and cell signaling.

The funding will help accelerate early-stage work in neurodegenerative disease, an area with significant unmet medical need.
