iOS 27 Getting Major Siri Redesign With Chat Interface and Dedicated App

Apple is reportedly planning a major Siri overhaul for iOS 27, centered on a chat-style interface and a dedicated Siri app.

The new Siri may be activated through Dynamic Island and offer richer search, answers, and support for files and images.

Apple is also said to be exploring a more iMessage-like conversation view and broader cross-app AI integration.

Bloomberg reports Apple could let users set third-party AI services like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini as defaults for some Apple Intelligence features.

The redesign would help Siri compete more directly with leading AI chatbots and deepen Apple’s AI experience across the system.
