Google Play Is Expanding Age Confirmation Tools For App Developers

Google is testing its Age Signals API for Android developers in Brazil, with rollout to Australia and Canada planned for mid-August.

The tool lets parents share an age range through Family Link instead of an exact age or birthdate.

Apps can use the signal to adjust content and settings for age-appropriate experiences.

Google says the API is headed for a global launch before the end of the year.
