China’s National Radio and Television Administration and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a meeting to roll out integrated TV nationwide.

The plan calls for large-scale deployment by annual targets, with coordinated progress alongside ultra-HD, senior-friendly services, and content/fee governance efforts.

Integrated TV aims to simplify usage for households, reduce reliance on external set-top boxes, and improve the overall TV viewing experience.

Broadcasters and telecom operators, including China Broadnet and the three major carriers, are expected to help carry out the rollout.
