Samsung Galaxy phones add a Pixel-style dedicated Google Search bar on homescreen [Gallery]

Samsung is adding a configurable search bar to Galaxy home screens in One UI 9.

The bar defaults to Google Search, can switch to Samsung Finder, or be turned off.

It is already available on the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8.

The rollout is expected to expand as Samsung’s Android 17-based update reaches more devices.
