Tohoku Shinkansen gets a special “Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary” car

JR East and Oriental Land will launch the limited-time “Magical Jubilee Shinkansen” on June 10 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea.

One E5 series trainset will run on the Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen lines, decorated inside and out with the anniversary event design.

The project is a major railway-theme park collaboration, bringing Tokyo DisneySea’s “Sparkling Jubilee” celebration to the Shinkansen.

The special train also highlights Mickey Mouse and other Disney branding as part of the festive campaign.
