Chrome on Android Will Now Let You Share Your Approximate Location

Google is adding approximate location sharing to Chrome on Android, not just precise GPS-based location.

The browser will also get developer APIs so sites can request the right level of location access.

The change gives Android users more privacy control by sharing rough location when exact coordinates aren’t needed.

Google says the feature will roll out to Chrome on desktop in the coming months.
