OpenAI has launched a US preview for ChatGPT Pro users that connects financial accounts through Plaid.

ChatGPT can review balances, spending, subscriptions, payments, investments, and debts to offer personal finance insights.

The feature is read-only, so it cannot move money or change accounts.

Users can disconnect accounts and remove synced data, but privacy and breach-protection questions remain.
