Baidu Silent After 100+ Apollo Robotaxis Stop in Wuhan

On March 31 in Wuhan, over 100 Baidu Apollo robotaxis stopped in traffic and stranded some passengers.

Local police called the incident a "system failure," and Baidu did not respond to inquiries.

At least three rear-end collisions were reported, but no injuries were reported.

Riders often waited long for support and in most cases could exit vehicles, though some stayed on elevated roads for safety.
