Twin Peaks and X-Files-inspired Thimbleweed Park 2 announced

Ron Gilbert has announced production on Thimbleweed Park 2, a sequel to the 2017 cult adventure game.

Several original developers are returning, including key creatives from the first game.

The self-published sequel is targeting an early 2028 launch on Linux, macOS, and Windows PC.

The announcement revives interest in classic point-and-click adventures and reunites a notable indie team.
