Ubuntu’s AI plans have Linux users looking for a ‘kill switch’

Canonical says upcoming AI features in Ubuntu will be optional, not forced, and delivered in parts such as accessibility and automation tools.

There will be no universal AI kill switch; users can opt in, skip installation, or remove AI components shipped as Snaps.
