Fortell, founded by Matthew de Jonge and ex-Butterfly colleagues, has launched premium AI-powered hearing aids that use machine learning to isolate speech in noisy settings.

The startup is seeing strong demand and has raised $163 million at a $740 million valuation, with backing from Founders Fund, Thrive Capital, and Valor Equity Partners.

Abby Care, founded by Havi Nguyen, operates as a Medicaid provider that trains and employs family caregivers, then channels Medicaid payments to them as wages.

The company now works across eight states, highlighting a growing model for paying relatives to provide long-term care through Medicaid.
