Intel reveals Arc G-series processors, hoping they will power your next Windows 11 gaming handheld

Intel unveiled Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme processors for Windows 11 gaming handhelds, built on Panther Lake with Xe3 graphics.

The chips add ray tracing, XeSS 3, and AI upscaling as Intel targets stronger handheld gaming performance.

Acer, MSI, and OneXPlayer are among the first partners expected to launch devices with the new processors.

The first handhelds are expected to arrive starting in June 2026.

Intel still has to prove the chips on battery life, thermals, drivers, and real-world performance against AMD-based rivals.
