Google rolls out Gemini memory in Europe and wants you to bring your ChatGPT data along

Google is rolling out Gemini’s Memories feature in Europe and other regions, with memory now enabled by default.

Gemini can use past chats to personalize responses, bringing it closer to ChatGPT-style memory features.

Google also added import tools for memories, preferences, and chat history from other AI apps.

Users can transfer context by pasting summaries or uploading ZIP files, making it easier to switch assistants without starting over.
