Surprise Tamagotchi Paradise Death Bug Is Messing Up Pets That Are Over 256 Years Old

Bandai Namco warned that Tamagotchi Paradise has an aging glitch affecting very old pets in specific age ranges.

At ages 256-285, 512-541, and 768-797, the normal death-and-rescue sequence can break and the pet may remain crying on screen.

The bug also skips the usual age display and star-off goodbye behavior, pointing to a likely storage or byte-limit issue.

The issue affects a long-lived digital pet in the middle of Tamagotchi’s broader revival, drawing comparisons to classic software limits.
