Apple Expanding AI Writing Tools With Grammar Checker in iOS 27

Bloomberg says Apple is testing a bigger Writing Tools upgrade for iOS 27 and iPadOS 27.

The update would add a dedicated grammar checker, more rewriting options, and new text generation features.

Apple is also testing Siri-assisted writing controls inside apps like Messages and Mail.

If shipped, the change would make Apple’s built-in writing help more capable and closer to third-party grammar tools.
