Reddit takes on the bots with new ‘human verification’ requirements for fishy behavior

Reddit will label automated accounts and require verification for suspected bots, reddit said it will label automated accounts that provide a service and require suspected bot accounts to verify they are human.

Jurisdictions government IDs may be required in some jurisdictions for verification, reddit noted government IDs may be required in some countries such as the U.K. and Australia and some U.S. states for age verification.
