Fusion power darling Commonwealth Fusion Systems raises another $1B

Commonwealth Fusion Systems raised $1 billion from institutional and corporate investors, bringing its total funding to $4 billion.

The new capital will help advance Sparc, the company’s fusion demonstration reactor, and Arc, its planned commercial power plant.

CFS says the funding supports its push toward scientific breakeven and eventual grid-scale fusion electricity.
