"FLUX Outpainting" Launches, Specialized in Outpainting with Image Generation AI "FLUX.2"—I Tried It Out

Black Forest Labs launched FLUX Outpainting, a new FLUX.2-based tool for extending images beyond their original borders.

The feature is available via API and a public demo, where users can upload an image and choose a new canvas size or aspect ratio.

Early examples show coherent expansions with fewer visible seams and boundary artifacts.

The demo has limits on input image size and output resolution.
