What’s new in Android’s April 2026 Google System Updates

Google’s April 2026 system updates bring Play services v26.13 and Play Store v50.9 changes across Android devices.

Play services adds Android Automotive sign-in confirmation details, new connectivity developer tools, and updates to location sharing/history behavior.

It also includes system management improvements and Wallet bug fixes, helping core Android services run more smoothly.

In the Play Store, some ads now show download counts, and users can join Play Games Leagues from the You tab.
