Chinese automakers take 34% of Europe’s plug-in hybrid deliveries in June

Chinese automakers took a record 34% of Europe’s plug-in hybrid deliveries in June, according to Dataforce.

BYD and Chery led the surge, underscoring the growing reach of Chinese brands in Europe’s electrified-vehicle market.

They also accounted for 11% of all new-car sales and 15% of battery-electric vehicle deliveries that month.

The figures point to rising competitive pressure from Chinese automakers across Europe’s auto market, especially in EVs.
