Xiaomi 17T targets Google and Samsung with hastily refreshed model

Xiaomi launched the 17T, a midrange-to-premium Android phone aimed at Samsung, Google, and Apple.

The phone features a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage.

It runs Android 16 with HyperOS, includes a triple rear camera system, and packs a 6,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging.

Xiaomi is shortening its product cycle to sharpen its premium-phone challenge, though the 17T will not be sold in the U.S.
