Instagram redesigns iPad app to what it always should have been

Instagram has redesigned its iPad app to closely match the iPhone layout.

The Home and Reels tabs now follow the familiar phone-style navigation.

Instagram also removed the separate Following tab in the iPad app.

The update replaces the earlier Reels-first design that many users found less useful.
