Nexon to Hold a 1.8 Billion Won 'MapleStory Global Development Contest'

Nexon launched a global development contest using the MapleStory IP to discover creators for MapleStory Worlds.

Anyone aged 14 and up can submit a new world, with around 1.8 billion won in total support on offer.

The company will also provide training materials, Q&A sessions, community support, an AI toolkit, and existing world resources.

Applications run from June 4 to October 7, with extra grants for the top 30 finalists and final 7 teams.
