Perplexity has launched a redesigned native macOS app for its Personal Computer AI agent.

The new app gives Pro and Max subscribers access to an assistant that can work across local files, apps, and the web.

A universal keyboard shortcut now opens a Command Bar for quick access.

Perplexity says its older Mac app will be phased out soon.
