'X by Xreal' wants everyone in on AR glasses, launches entry-level pair for gamers, movie-lovers

Xreal launched a new sub-brand, X by Xreal, and unveiled its first product, the a01 AR glasses, in China.

The entry-level glasses are aimed at gamers and movie viewers, with a bright MicroOLED display, HDR10 support, and anti-shake processing.

The lightweight, camera-free design also includes interchangeable front frames for more style options.

Xreal plans to bring the a01 to the U.S. in July for $299, widening access to lower-cost AR glasses.
