Mitsui Fudosan to collect unwanted "oshi-katsu goods" and appliance cables for resource recycling

Mitsui Fudosan Residential has added contact lens cases and fan merchandise to its unwanted-item collection in five Toyosu apartment buildings.

The program also now accepts home appliance cables, earphones, and shoes to test reuse and recycling options.

The goal is to raise collection rates for items that are hard to throw away and tend to stay in households.

The company hopes to expand a practical circular recovery model that can work inside apartment communities.
