Homebrew PlayStation DualSense controller adapter for PC can be built for just $20 with a Raspberry Pi Pico — wireless dongle delivers adaptive triggers and haptic feedback to gamers

A developer released DS5Dongle, an MIT-licensed adapter that lets a Sony DualSense connect to Windows over Bluetooth while appearing as a wired controller.

That preserves advanced features like adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and other DualSense functions that Windows Bluetooth usually does not handle well.

The project uses a Raspberry Pi Pico 2W and reportedly delivers low-latency performance for under $20.

For PC gamers, it offers a cheap wireless workaround to keep the DualSense’s premium features intact.
