Announcing the initial People-First AI Fund grantees

The People-First AI Fund announced its first grantees, distributing support to nonprofits and community organizations across the U.S.

Recipients work across digital justice, education, youth development, immigrant and racial equity, health, media, and civic engagement.

Notable grantees include 3 Dots Downtown, All Star Code, Dolores Huerta Foundation, Digital NEST, Heartland Forward, Los Angeles Public Press, and Center for Common Ground.

The funding should help community groups expand AI-related public-interest work and shape technology use for underserved communities.
