Google’s new Fitbit band has continued hiding in plain sight, software too [Gallery]

Google appears to be testing a screenless Fitbit band worn publicly by Steph Curry since January.

Unseen Fitbit app screens suggest the band can track cardio load, heart rate, calories, and elapsed workout time.

The launch date is still unknown, but the device hints at a new minimalist Fitbit form factor beyond watches.

If released, it could help Google broaden its wearable lineup and compete more directly with Whoop-style trackers.
