Google Wallet adds Live Update for flight tracking

Google Wallet on Android 16+ now supports Live Updates for flights, surfacing status near departure on the status bar, lock screen, and always-on display.

The feature complements boarding pass notifications, check-in reminders, and ticket access, making Wallet more useful as a travel companion.

Google says Live Updates could expand to other trip types in the future.
