AMD's 8GB Radeon RX 9050 desktop card could arrive soon to challenge Nvidia's RTX 5050

AMD is reportedly planning a budget Radeon RX 9050 desktop GPU below the RX 9060 lineup.

The card may use 8GB GDDR6, a 128-bit bus, 2,048 cores, and PCIe 5.0 x16, with display outputs similar to the RX 9060 family.

If launched, the RX 9050 would target Nvidia’s RTX 5050 and give AMD a lower-cost option during a tight memory supply period.

The report suggests the GPU could be tied to Navi 44 and may appear around Computex, though nothing is official yet.
