Freewillyn’s in-house AI hackathon grand prize goes to Team Ssuaengnim

Freerine held an all-hands internal AI hackathon on July 23–24, with 13 teams presenting MVP demos.

The top prize went to Team Ssaengnim’s “Ggongkku,” an idea combining students’ decorating culture with learning experiences.

Judges and employee votes were combined to select winners, and the company said it will apply about 50% of the hackathon ideas to products and internal operations.

The event shows Freerine is using AI training and hackathons to drive its shift toward an AI-native organization.
