Capcom Teases Okami 20th Anniversary Celebrations

Capcom will hold an Okami 20th-anniversary event on April 20, 2026.

The anniversary date aligns with the game's original Japanese PS2 release in 2006.

A sequel to the original game was announced at The Game Awards in 2024.

Director Hideki Kamiya will return to direct the new project.

The first Okami game is available on the Switch eShop.
