"Google AI Pro" Users See Almost No YouTube Ads, Get "Premium Lite" for Free

Google will offer YouTube Premium Lite at no extra cost to eligible Google AI Pro subscribers in supported countries.

The perk applies to individual users age 13 and up who have started paying; family plans only cover the manager account.

Subscribers can watch many YouTube videos without ads, and also use offline and background playback.

The move adds a video-streaming benefit to Google's AI subscription as it seeks to attract more users.
