SpaceXAI launches next-generation voice model 'Grok Voice Sync Fast 2.0'

xAI has launched Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0, a next-generation voice model for developers focused on faster inference, better transcription, and more natural conversation.

The new model also improves reliability when calling external tools, with stronger scores in independent benchmarks and xAI’s own evaluations.

In a Starlink customer-service test, the model improved conversion rates and increased the share of requests handled automatically.

Pricing is set at $0.08 per audio minute, and the default model will automatically switch to the new version on August 5.
