Spain’s Xoople raises $130 million Series B to map the Earth for AI

Spanish startup Xoople raised $130 million in a Series B round led by Nazca Capital to build a satellite constellation for AI-focused earth data.

The company announced a deal with L3Harris to build optical sensors for its spacecraft and has so far raised $225 million in total.

Xoople plans to embed its geospatial data into enterprise platforms like Microsoft and Esri while competing with established satellite operators.

The startup was founded in 2019 and has developed its tech stack using government spacecraft data.

It declined to disclose satellite counts or a post-money valuation but said it is in "unicorn territory."
