Kintetsu launches paid seating service "Suware-ru"

Kintetsu will launch its first paid reserved-seat service on a regular commuter car, called “Suwareru,” using the new 6A series.

The service starts June 1 on the Osaka Abenobashi–Furuichi section, running on one front car of an evening express.

It offers 36 cross-seat seats for 300 yen, with a limited introductory fare of 200 yen through June 30.

Tickets will be sold online only, starting at 5:30 a.m. on the day of travel.
