Google Cloud unveils 'AI Threat Defense,' a security foundation for the AI era

Google Cloud introduced its AI security platform, Google AI Threat Defense, at Google Cloud Next Tokyo.

The system combines Wiz for risk identification and prioritization with CodeMender for vulnerability remediation.

It runs in a four-stage loop of prepare, scan, remediate, and monitor, aiming to automate defense at machine speed.

Speakers stressed that as AI accelerates both attacks and vulnerability discovery, reliable auto-remediation is becoming essential.
